This development of 9 new apartments on vacant land between two existing buildings has received planning and is due to be tendered in late 2021. Works are due to start on site in the spring of 2022. The design picks up on the scale of the building formally used as a hotel, but now houses vulnerable young people. It creates a brick base over three storeys with a diamond tile clad top floor. The front facade has the balcony spaces as overlooking is an issue to the rear, with the balconies here also providing views over Victoria Park. The building has a single core serving all of the apartments which range from 1-Bed / 2-Person up to 3-Bed / 4-Person.
