The Warehouse, Waterloo

This conversion of two warehouse buildings in Waterloo provides two large studios for both rehearsing and recording. The client being the London Festival Orchestra converted the main warehouse first, which offered a large rehearsal and concert venue suitable for making recordings, together with their administrative HQ and a small apartment for the Musical Director. The second phase converted the smaller warehouse to provide a good size studio, with percussion and vocal booths together with a large sound / mixing room. This studio opened up the ability to teach, practice and record to local schools, with the ability to place tracks on CD immediately. The warehouses form 2 sides of a courtyard, which is also part of this property, with the other 2 sides being converted to form a violin workshop and residential properties.
