Mixed Development of Print Workshop

On the site of an old printing workshop and office, the owners were looking to move to more modern accommodation and approached SM12 to obtain planning for a residential led redevelopment of their site. Permission has now been granted for 19 new apartments with commercial uses at ground floor. The scheme also includes ideas for pedestrianising the main slip road to form a small urban park on route to the local rail station. Ideas to convert the disused public WC's under the slip road to form a new Coffee Shop serving the new park and seating areas was also discussed and liked by the Planning and Urban Design team at Croydon.
