PENTA - Residence Viscony

These are the boards from our entry to the international competition for the redevelopment of a complete city block in Visocany. It is a sustainable approach to city centre development, where the buildings absorb more CO2 than they produce, making a gain for the whole city. The brief required a large scale development set within a mid-rise part of the city, with our design building up from the edges to a tower in the centre of Northern boundary. The centre of the site and much of the building undercroft remains open for people to enjoy the outside. The ground floor also includes a Cinema, Retail and Cafes.
