Reconfiguration of House & Barn

This project is for a private client who recently purchased this 11 acre property. The original barn forms a courtyard, but is now split between two different homes. Our client's property has their part of the barn partially converted to residential, linked to a 1960's house with little character to enhance the historic setting. The project looks to reconfigure the living accommodation through internal alterations, conversion of the remaining barn and adaption of the 1960's house to form a more legible building that creates a comfortable family home, with areas dedicated to their work and enjoyment. Planning permission was granted in 2022 with the construction work planned to start in the spring of 2023.
