Loft Conversion, Cheam
This project needed to respect the original architecture of the house. The original brief stated that a dormer would not form part of the works, but the client's thinking lent towards the large boxes you see everywhere, and not something more subtle. The final design provided a smaller dormer, with a pitched roof, in a traditional form, which later the client agreed made all the difference to the rooms created at this level. The conversion created a master suite for the client, with Bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
